Welcome to The Sea Trout Inn, Staverton, Totnes.

Jason and Samantha look forward to welcoming you to The Sea Trout Inn.

The Sea Trout Inn is an idyllic, traditional Devon Inn dating back to the 15th Century situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Dart Valley, near Totnes.

We have 10 en-suite letting rooms, a Fine Dining Conservatory Restaurant serving Modern British Cuisine and two individual bar areas serving freshly prepared, homemade, traditional pub food to a very high standard.

You can choose to dine in the more formal setting of our restaurant and conservatory or alternatively the more informal surroundings of one of our bars. The restaurant overlooks our pretty patio gardens where guests can dine alfresco on warm summer days/evenings. In winter enjoy traditional open log fires in the lounge area and Stags “Locals” Bar.

Our ever-popular 'Specials Board' changes regularly. Vegetarian dishes are always available. We aim to source as much of our produce as possible from local farms and fresh daily caught fish landed at Brixham.

The Stags Bar
The Stags Bar is a fine example of the quintessential “locals bar”. Many of our guests enjoy the friendly and sometimes noisy atmosphere created by those out for a good night. Dogs are welcome in the Stags Bar, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

Both bars are served from one servery with a selection of real ales, cider and a large range of wines.

We have 10 en-suite bedrooms, some of which overlook the pretty patio garden.

All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities.

Our conservatory can be closed off making an ideal Private Dining Room to celebrate that special occasion. Comfortably seating up to 25 people it can also be used for business meetings.
