Welcome to Torbay Leisure Centre
Torbay Leisure Centre is situated in the beautiful area of Clennon Valley, Paignton. The valley stretches from the golden sands of Goodrington Beach right up through to the world famous Paignton Zoo. The centre stands in acres of lush green fields and woodlands, with large ponds and lakes, which are home to a great many species of local wildlife.

Torbay’s indoor sporting and leisure facility was built in three phases, starting with Torbay Pool in 1976, the Squash courts were added in 1980 and the Sports Hall, Fitness Suite and Catering facilities were introduced in 1984.

Since winning the 20 year contract to operate Torbay Leisure Centre, Parkwood Leisure have made a number of improvements including the introduction of Bumper’s Backyard (children’s soft play area) and a lower floor Café Bar, an extension to the existing Fitness Gym and in 2002 the refurbishment of the All-weather Pitch.

We offer a wide range of facilities aiming to meet our Members'
needs, whether its working out the stresses of the day in
Expressions Fitness Gym, playing one of the many racquet sports available, taking a dip in our 33mtr Swimming Pool or relaxing in the Health Suite. We also cater for younger members of the family with our OK Kids Club activities and Bumper’s Backyard soft play area.

The Leisure Centre is easily accessible and is a 10 minute walk from Paignton Town Centre. The number 12 bus stops outside and goes to both Torquay and Brixham. The Centre boasts car parking for over 700 cars, with facility to hold a further 1200 cars, less than 100mtrs away.
