| ECLIPSE LODGE is situated in Chelston, the picturesque mature residential area of Torquay, just 1 mile from the town centre and harbour. Local amenities, including the church, post office, bank, tea rooms and shops, are conveniently close while the sea front and railway station are a gentle 10 minute walk. It is the aim of our Home to give a professional caring service and provide our Residents with the dignity and security of a permanent home with the little extra attention that the elderly, frail and infirm require. To this end high staffing levels are maintained 24 hours per day and all staff are encouraged to follow external and in-house training under the guidance of the experienced and qualified proprietors. |
| Our facilities include a large comfortable TV lounge, a quiet reading area supplied with books from the local library, and a peaceful conservatory with panoramic views over Torquay. Our home is also fortunate to have a large mature garden where Residents can sit and enjoy the summer sunshine or watch the changing seasons. |  |

The hotel-style dining room is furnished with either single or shared tables. Our menus, including any special dietary needs, are varied and home-cooked using only the finest of ingredients. Fresh fruit is always available as an alternative to our traditional sweets. |
| Accommodation is provided mainly in single, comfortably furnished rooms, the majority being on the ground floor. The purpose-built extension completed in June 1990, offers elegant accommodation with full en-suite facilities. For our Residents comfort and care all rooms are fitted with an intercom nurse call unit. |  |
| Other facilities provided at ECLIPSE LODGE include the in-house hairdressing salon open every Wednesday, visiting chiropodists and dentists. Entertainments include trips to the many surrounding beauty spots in our own mini-bus, theatre parties, visiting musical entertainers and handicraft sessions.
